Google Email

All Staff and Students have a Google account and therefore an @apps.matsuk12.us email account.
Your email address is your network username+@apps.matsuk12.us (ex, ab012345@apps.matsuk12.us)
Google notifications for Google Classroom and other Google apps will go to this address.
You can forward your Google email to your outlook account by setting up a rule in Google email.

After signing into your MSBSD Google Account use the waffle at the top right navigate to Gmail.

Click the gear icon to open settings.
Click on 'See all settings'.
Go to the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
Choose 'Forward a copy of incoming mail to' and choose your outlook email address.
Using the dropdown choose what you want to happen to each email after they forward. If you choose 'mark Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District Mail's copy in the inbox', forwarded emails will no be bold. This allows you to easily see if an email didn't forward.
Click Save.
Send an email to your gmail account to confirm the process is completed successfully.
