Personalizing Dashboard

Overview:

A common dashboard was applied to all MUNIS users. Users can personalize the programs on their Dashboard to align with work functions
 

Instructions:

  1. Open MUNIS 11.2 via the above URL.

  2. Commonly used Financial, HR/Payroll, and Central programs are categorized and listed on the left-hand side.

  3. To edit the programs on this list, click “Edit Favorites.”

  4. A dialogue box pops up that allows you to edit the programs in this list.

  5. To re-categorize, rename, or delete a program, click on the program name. A dialogue box appears.

  6. To re-categorize the program, select an existing category from the drop-down menu. Or click “Add Category” and type in the name of a new category. Click “Save Favorite.”

  7. To rename a program, type a new program name in the “Program Name” field. Click “Save Favorite.”

  8. To delete a program, click “Delete Favorite.”

  9. To add new programs to your left-hand menu, click “Tyler Menu” on the Dashboard.

  10. The Tyler Menu loads. Use the arrows to expand the menu and navigate to a program. Or, type the name of the program in the search bar. The programs available to you in the menu is dependent on your MUNIS rights.

  11. When you locate the program you’d like to add to your left-hand menu, right-click on it and select “Add to my Programs.”

  12. Repeat steps 10 and 11 to continue adding programs. Click “Close” when you are done.

  13. Repeat steps 3 through 8 to rename, re-categorize, or delete programs in your left-hand menu.
