Updating an Absence


Follow these instructions to cancel, delete, or update an absence in Absence Management.


  1. Sign in to Absence Management using the ID and PIN provided by the Mat-Su Borough School District.
  2. From your homepage, in the interactive calendar, click on the absence you would like to update or cancel. An informational box pops up:

  3. To cancel your absence, simply click the “Delete” button in the information pop-up box.

  4. To update your absence,
    1. Click on the Confirmation number in the information pop-up box.

    2. From the screen that loads, select “Edit Absence.”

    3. Make any changes necessary, including dates, reason codes, notes, attachments, or times.

    4. Select “Save Absence” when you are finished.

  5. Any changes, cancellations, or deletions are indicated on your home page interactive calendar.
