Workflows Upgrade Instructions for Windows 10

Overview:

Symphony 3.5.3.0.2 Upgrade - This Knowledge Base article provides instructions to complete an upgrade to existing Workflows installations. The upgrade will automatically launch when Workflows application is opened.

 
For a new installation of Workflows see Knowledge Base article “Workflows Install.”
 
***You must use Workflows SUP login. Please submit Request Service below if you do not have a SUP login.
 

Before you begin, please backup your Workflow settings:

  1. Open start menu
  2. Select Computer
  3. Navigate to C:\Users\your username\Sirsi\Workflows\Property
  4. Copy the files “preference” and “property” into another folder of your choosing.
     

To update an existing WorkFlows Java™ Client:

  1. Login into WorkFlows.
  2. When you see “Update staff client?” click yes.
  3. After Client exits, restart Workflows
  4. Login as normal.
     

Restore your Workflows user settings:

  1. Exit Workflows.
  2. Locate the folder where you saved your user setting files “preference” and “property.”
  3. Copy and paste “preference” and “property” to C:\Users\your username\sirsi\Workflows\Property
  4. If a box opens with the words, “There is already a file with the same name in this location” select the option to “Copy and Replace.
