School Calendar, Bell Schedule & Rotation

COUNSELOR and REGISTRAR ACCESS - Applies to Secondary Schools with regular or rotating schedule.
There are three Synergy screens used to manage the School Calendar:
- Bell Schedule Definition
- Period Rotation Definition
- School Calendar

Navigate to Period Rotation Definition
- There are 2 tabs of information, Rotation Days and Rotation Periods
- Rotation Days should be set up already.
- Rotation Periods, you can adjust to show what periods fall on each day of the week.

Now that your period rotation is set up and your Bell Schedules are in place you can adjust the School Calendar.
Go to School Calendar Screen, Synergy SIS > Attendance > Setup > School Calendar.
Be sure the Default Bell Schedule is set to the correct Default.
On the specific days that needs adjusted, click in the Bell cell and there will be a dropdown list to choose the Bell schedule for that day. Save
Do this for all the dates that need to be adjusted from the default, and as needed throughout the school year.
