Student Password

Overview:

Click here if you know your password and want to change it.

New MSBSD Students (Grades 3 and above) must change their password PRIOR to their first log on.
Once a password has been changed be sure to hand-type your new password for each application, do not use the old auto-filled password.
Attempting to log into StudentVUE with an incorrect password will eventually disable your StudentVUE account. If this occurs please call the IT CallCenter at 907-761-4357.

MSBSD Chromebook users can change their password using the Password Kiosk App at the bottom left of their Chromebook's login page under 'Apps'.
After the password is successfully changed you will need to reboot by holding down the power button.

Grades K-2

Not required to change.
At least 5 characters.

Grades 3-8

At least 8 characters.

Grades 9-12

At least 8 characters.
At least one character from 3 of the 4 groups (uppercase, lowercase, number, special character).
Cannot contain your first or last name.
Your last 5 passwords can’t be re-used. If similar password is used, at least 3 of the characters must be changed.

A district wide password reset will be performed late October, avoid getting locked out by resetting your password early.

Check when you last changed your password: https://myaccount.google.com/security
Sign in with ab12345@apps.matsuk12.us format.
Scroll down to the ‘How you sign in to Google’ portion and look for the 'Last changed' field.
