ALASBO Administrative Assistant and School Secretary Workshop Series

Business Services is excited to announce a series of workshops offered by The Alaska Association of School Business Officials (ALASBO) specific to Administrative Assistants and School Secretaries. There will be six sessions spread throughout the year and the first one is scheduled for Tuesday, August 20 at 10:30am.

Each Zoom session will run from 10:30-11:30 and will be recorded. Click here for a flyer which outlines each of the sessions. They are geared to be applicable across all districts within the State and will cover a broad range of topics from parent interactions to financial procedures, and everything in between. There will be reminders in the Principal Post the week prior to each session. Registration has already been paid for by Business Services. While this series is orientated towards school secretaries it is open to any staff who would benefit.

The workshops will be included on the Admin Secretary On-Line Training Calendar. For information on how to add the calendar, there’s a link in Team Dynamix here (Adding a shared Calendar to Outlook Client). The recorded workshops will be made available in Team Dynamics for easy access.
