This page provides information on booking the MCS Conference Rooms and reserving requested support.
Use the "See More" below for details of each conference room, to ensure the one you select will meet the needs of your meeting.
To book the MCS conference rooms for use (Best practice)
- Include the conference room in your appointment.
- Create an appointment that you send out to all of your attendees. Include the MCS Conf Rm (#) as an attendee to your appointment. This will automatically add the conference room in the location line.
- DO NOT book closer than 30 min from another event to allow for set-up/take down of that meeting.
- DO NOT book room for all day use, you must have a start and stop time.
- This doesn’t provide enough detail
- This doesn’t allow for the auto accept to work properly and your meeting could be double booked.
OWL Check out
- If you need to use the OWL for a meeting in a room at Admin that does not have one, Call Center has a loaner.
- Visit Call Center to see if it is available for checkout.
OWL Set up - There is set up information in the bag.
- Plug the OWL's USB-C cable into your computer, then plug in the power cable.(the OWL should be at least 18 inches from the monitor/TV)
- Start a meeting in your video conferencing platform (Zoom, TEAMS, Google Meet, etc)
- Set your conferencing software's video, microphone, and speaker settings to "Meeting Owl".
- The OWL will automatically focus on active speakers.
- If using the Expansion Microphone, plug the cable into the Meeting Owl.
- Place the Expansion Mic at least 6 feet away from the OWL,
