Campus User - How to Add Preferred Substitutes for Schools

Overview:

Follow these instructions to add a substitute to your school’s preferred sub list.
 

Instructions:

  1. Sign in to Absence Management using the ID and PIN provided by the Mat-Su Borough School District.

  2. From your homepage, click on “Settings” and “Preferred Substitutes.”

  3. The Preferred Substitutes page will appear. Click the “Add Substitutes” button.

  4. In the search bar, type in the last name of the substitute, or click on the first letter of the substitute’s last name to find substitutes to add to your school's Preferred Substitutes List. Then click “Add to Preferred Substitutes.” The substitute is now on your preferred sub list.

  5. If a substitute is hired for the District, moves, or needs to be removed from your preferred sub list for any reason, select the check box next to their name in the preferred sub list and click “Remove Selected Substitute(s).”

  6. It is important to constantly update your preferred sub list, as new substitutes are being hired in the District every week and adding subs to your preferred list will increase your rates by giving these substitutes 15% visibility lead time on accepting the position.
