Overview:
This Article contains Instructions for downloading and setting up the AdminVUE Application on a mobile device.
- The AdminVUE Mobile application empowers principals, school resource officers, and other administrative staff to interact more effectively with students around campus.
- AdminVUE enables users to scan student ID's to quickly access student records, mark students tardy, print hall passes (with a portable printer) and record discipline issues.
- In case of emergency, authorized users may also activate a digital emergency management protocol that notifies teachers, accounts for students and informs first responders.

Installing the AdminVUE Application on your smart phone
- Download the AdminVUE App from your store, GooglePlay or the App Store.

- Open the app and Allow the app to send you notifications, if prompted.
- Enter our district Synergy URL: https://ak-matsu.edupoint.com in the first field and your Synergy credentials in Username and Password. If you choose to Save Username and Password be sure that your device is protected with a passcode.

- Click the Test button to establish a connection. Click OK when you see the success alert. You should now see the Mat-Su Borough School District on the screen.

- Click the Log In Button to get to the Home Page. You'll see several choices, they may differ based on your position.

Setup Bluetooth Printer
Printer Configuration
Connecting your Bluetooth Printer for printing tardy slips
- Turn your device's Bluetooth on, and connect to the Star Micronics printer.
Note: The printer name may be formatted. Example: CHSSTAR01
- Open the AdminVUE App and sign in, then click the 3 horizontal lines which are standing vertically (aka "hamburger icon") on the top left to open the Menu.
- Select Preferences.
- Scroll to the bottom and select Printer Setup.
- Choose the Star Micronics printer from the Printer Type drop down, and choose "2 inch printer" for the paper size and click the "Select Printer" button.
- Click "Test Print" for a sample slip to be printed.
