iPad Apps

Overview:

iPad apps are managed centrally based on the location (School/Department) responsible for oversight of the devices. When your iPad is setup with MSBSD’s Mobile Device Management, the apps assigned to your location will be pushed to the iPad. Please coordinate with your locations Administration and point of contact for requesting additional apps. Any requests must be submitted though this service request for iPad Apps. This must be done for all Free or Paid Apps for location iPads.

Please Note:

  • Staff may install personal apps on an individual ipad for their specific use using their personal iTunes account. This method is not to be used for apps on multiple iPads or for District Apps.
  • If you have a new device, please see our KB Article on How to Setup your new iPad(s).
  • If you have need or additional iPad Support, please submit a service request for iPad Hardware Support  (A New Service Request is needed for this. Can a new service be setup under Hardware for this. As far as where it needs to go, can you clarify the Workflow for the iPad Apps Support? Doe these go directly to Stephen and Larry?)
iPad App Install Instructions
When requesting additional apps, the person responsible for managing iPads at their site should submit a ticket containing the exact names of any app(s) being requested. You can also easily sign into the app store with your personal Apple ID for individual purchases should you so wish.
