DonorsChoose is an online platform where educators can request funding for classroom materials, including technology. MSBSD is an official DonorsChoose District Partner, which means we have custom guidelines and tools in place to ensure alignment with district standards, especially for technology. This partnership provides streamlined integration and increased visibility into classroom project requests. When staff use the district’s custom DonorsChoose portal URL, (https://www.donorschoose.org/matsuk12) their submissions are associated with MSBSD guidelines. District-aligned technology standards are associated with the request process, helping ensure that projects meet approved specifications and can be fully supported by the IT Department. Principals may request to be automatically notified of new project submissions at their school.
