Overview:

MSBSD’s Adobe licenses have transitioned from a device-based license to a user-based license. Users will need to sign in to Adobe Creative Cloud to activate their license.

The user license provides full access to the Adobe products suite and allows staff to download and install Adobe apps onto your home computer. You can sign into two instances of Adobe Creative Cloud simultaneously.
Only those students enrolled in Business Apps classes will have an Adobe Creative Cloud license assigned.
Adobe Acrobat DC will not be installed on student computers unless they are in a Business Apps lab or in approved specific use cases.

Sign-in Process for Adobe Creative Cloud:

Open Adobe Acrobat DC and look in the top right-hand corner. If it says “Sign In” or you get an error message saying the license has expired, you’ll be required to sign in.
Click the start menu (Windows Button) on your computer and click on the shortcut to Adobe Creative Cloud.
NOTE: If you don't see the app you can install it from Software Center.
A log-in screen appears. Enter your District ad email address, the format is different for Staff and Students: Staff use Network ID @ad.matsuk12.us and Students use Network ID @apps.matsuk12.us).
If you get a prompt that looks like this, choose Matanuska Susitna Borough SD option.
If you get redirected to the MSBSD Organization account login page. Enter your Office365 style email (i.e., AB012345@ad.matsuk12.us for staff and students) and your network password. Click “Sign In.”
Once you’ve correctly logged in, Adobe Creative Cloud will update for awhile.. Be patient..
Once it completes the update process the app will close. Open from desktop icon.

Installing Applications on District DeviceSee More

Instructions:

Locate the following icon on your desktop or start menu. and open the Adobe Creative Cloud program.
If you need to sign in see the section above for instuctions.
Under the “Apps” menu, you will see the apps available in your plan. Note: Find the app you want and select “Install”, this also will take some time, so be patient. Once it is installed, you will have the option to open it.
Install Acrobat DC.
This will take a little time and Outlook desktop app needs to be closed for this to install.
When the install is complete click the open button.
You will get a Welcomce screen.
The system will prompt you to set it as your default app for PDF
Click Continue
Change
Select Adobe Arobat DC and then OK
Apply and OK, you are all set.

To install any of the Adobe CC products (Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, etc.) onto your personal machine, please follow these directions

Instructions:

Navigate to Adobe.com. follow the instructions for signing in using the section above for details.
Click on the waffle in the top right and choose Adobe Creative Cloud.
Now you will get the option to download the app.
Follow the prompts to install this on your device, then sign into the desktop app.
