Detention

Using the detention part of Synergy with the KioskVUE option.

Click "see more" at the right of each category to expand the sections.

Tap Detention Check In.
Tap the Session Type.
Enter the Start Time.
Enter a Duration if you want the duration to be something other than 1 hour.
Tap Start Session.
Triple-tap the Home button on the device to start Guided Access. A password is now required to access other function on the device.
The student checks in by scanning their student ID or by entering their StudentVUE login.
A successful message displays after the student is checked in.

Triple-tap the Home button on the device to diable Guided Access after all the student have checked in.
Tap Administrator Access.
Enter the Administrator password.
Tap Verify to return to the home screen. The Detention Session screen displays the students who checked in. From here, you can tap Home, End Session, or Check In Students.
For this to work completly you need to close the app for it to actually record the end time.

Tap a Detention Session to view more information. The details and the students that participated display for the selected session.
Tap Cancel to return to Detention Session History.

Attendance Verification will show you all who have UN or UNT codes for the day specified. Listed below are some atendance report options.

ATP401: This report will allow you to select the “Reason Type 1” of UNT and then this will print out a report of only those students who have UNT for that day. One problem is if you wanted to schedule this to run you would need to change the date on the report daily. If you leave the date start/end blank and then go to Advanced, you can schedule the report to run daily and email to anyone that you want, but it will show all year information.
ATP405: This report will default the as of date to today and you can choose the reason code and then schedule this report.
U-IDS401: Detention Served is a custom report inside of the "MatSu" tree for seeing how many hours a student has served.
